BCTG & Associés accompanied the Electricité et Eaux de Madagascar Group in its disengagement of the

 

The EEM Group, a company listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, has finalized the transfer of its Vietnamese hotel pole, composed of 5 hotels operated under the “Victoria” trademark, to THIEN MINH Group, for an amount of 44 million US dollars.
 
“It is a very nice operation for our Group, even though the discussions were long and difficult”, explains Mr. Frederic Doulcet, Vice Managing Director of the group, which was in charge of the negotiations.
 
“We are currently continuing our discussions with possible buyers for the last hotel situated in Cambodia, in Angkor, in order to complete our total disengagement from the hotel activity”, continues Mr. Doulcet.
 
This transfer, which implied aspects of both Vietnamese and Hong Kong laws,  was led by the BCTG & Associés law firm, with Nuno de Ayala Boaventura, partner, and Gabriel d' Amécourt, with the support of its correspondent in Hong Kong, the law firm Stephenson Harwood (Hilda Chiu, partner, and Karen Cheng).
 
As regards Thien Minh Group, it was advised by the law firm Charltons, with Julia Charlton, partner, and Karen To.
